Natural8 Restricted Countries and Local Laws
Natural8 does not publish a list of restricted countries: if your country of residence is missing from the drop-down list at sign-up, you can't open an account. Being able to sign up doesn't make it legal, though — in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and mainland China, all listed below, local law treats unauthorised online gambling as illegal.

The short answer: region by region

| Mainland China | No Simplified Chinese | Taking part in gambling is a public-order offence; running a gambling house or organising participation in gambling abroad is a crime | Mainland China |
| India | None (English) | Offering real-money online games has been banned outright since 1 May 2026 | See below |
Can sign up ≠ legal. When Natural8 markets in a region, signs local ambassadors or runs a livestream channel there, that only shows it targets players there — it doesn't mean local law lets you take part. The laws in every region above set penalties for unauthorised online gambling, and this site does not encourage anyone to break the law where they live.
Natural8's own rule: check the sign-up drop-down
Natural8 does not publish a “restricted countries list”. Section 2.11 of its terms says that if a player can't find their country of residence during sign-up, Natural8 can't accept their account. The Help Centre adds that the same rule applies when you travel to another country.
- Your country of residence must be in the list. The country drop-down on the sign-up page is, in practice, the list of served regions, and it can change at any time.
- Your details must be genuine. Before withdrawing you have to complete KYC and submit an ID document, and the terms also require proof of address. If the country you entered doesn't match your documents and address, your withdrawal will get stuck.
- Unserved regions are pointed to GGPoker. When we opened the download and sign-up pages from an unsupported region during our research, the message suggested playing on GGPoker instead.
The sign-up process is covered in the sign-up guide; KYC and withdrawal requirements are in the withdrawal guide.
Why you shouldn't use a VPN
Plenty of people search for “natural8 vpn” and “natural 8 malaysia vpn”. We don't provide any workaround, for very practical reasons:
- Disguising your location breaks Natural8's terms (section 2.11), and your account may be closed;
- Withdrawals are checked against your ID and proof of address, so if your location doesn't add up, your balance risks being frozen;
- A VPN only changes your IP address — not where you physically are or which law applies to you.
India (natural 8 india)
India's Parliament passed the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 in August 2025, and the central government notified it into force from 1 May 2026. The Act prohibits offering, or helping to offer, real-money online games, advertising them, and handling payments for them, without distinguishing between games of skill and games of chance. In published commentary, the penalties mainly target platforms, promoters and payment providers; we have not been able to verify what liability individual players face. Bottom line: don't use real-money poker platforms in India.
Other countries
If your country isn't covered on this page, check two things first: whether local law allows you to play on offshore online poker sites, and whether your country of residence appears in the drop-down list at sign-up. If either answer is no, don't open an account. For legal questions, consult a lawyer licensed where you live — nothing on this site is legal advice. To judge whether the platform itself is legitimate, see the Natural8 review.
