How EV Cashout is calculated
The official formula: cashout = (pot − rake − jackpot fee) × your equity × 99%. Example: a $100 pot, $5 rake, $1 jackpot fee and 80% equity after the all-in gives 94 × 0.8 × 0.99 ≈ $74.45. Once you cash out, that amount is credited whatever cards come next. Note that fees from EV Cashout do not count toward releasing the first-deposit Match Bonus (see the bonus terms).
Using PokerCraft and the HUD well: VPIP only tells you how often an opponent puts money in the pot, and over fewer than a few dozen hands it means little. When reviewing, start with the positions and starting hands where you lose the most, then check key all-ins with our poker odds calculator.
Natural8's calculator vs ours
Natural8's website also has an odds calculator. It covers Hold'em, Short Deck (6+) and Omaha (4 hole cards; no PLO-5/6), shows each player's Win% and Tie%, uses up to 100,000 samples when it simulates, and puts a “~” in front of approximate results. Our calculator is written independently and covers Hold'em and Omaha (no Short Deck), but it gives total equity (ties counted as a share) and the current made hand, and works together with the pot odds and outs calculators. Both are practice tools; neither runs live at the table.
