Hold'em cash games: 6-max stakes and buy-ins
Classic No-Limit Hold'em (NLH) 6-max comes in three bands: low stakes from $0.01/$0.02 to $0.10/$0.25, mid stakes from $0.25/$0.50 to $1/$2, and high stakes at $2/$5, $5/$10 and $10/$20. Rake is 5% throughout, and the cap rises with the number of players dealt in.

9-max tables with ante
The 9-max tables play with an ante, from $0.01/$0.02 (ante $0.01, buy-in $1) up to $5/$10 (ante $5, buy-in $500). Rake is also 5%, capped at $0.30 with 5+ players at the lowest stake and at 1BB at $5/$10. Pick these if you like full tables and a slower pace.
Play chips: learn the client for free
- New players get P20,000 in play money.
- Once your balance runs out, you can reclaim up to P10,000 every 4 hours, at most twice a day.
- Play chips can't be withdrawn, and they are not the same thing as the P$ (Poker Dollars) you get from bonuses.
Play-money tables are good for learning the bet buttons, the time bank and switching between tables. They are not good for testing strategy, because nobody cares about losing free chips.

Formats that are gone: the old 30-player Battle Royale has been upgraded to Mystery Battle Royale, and the official VIP Games page (stakes up to $500/$1,000) is marked “no longer available”. If an old guide still describes either one, it is out of date.
Three things to do before you start
- Download the client. No game or tournament runs in a browser; see the download guide for your device.
- Learn the hand rankings. Hold'em and Omaha use the same rankings, Short Deck has exceptions; see poker hand rankings.
- Check the leaderboards and rakeback. Most formats have daily leaderboards (see leaderboards), and the rake you pay also earns Ocean Rewards (see rakeback).
