Natural8 Rakeback: Ocean Rewards Explained
Natural8's official rakeback programme is Ocean Rewards: every $1 of poker rake earns 100 Tide Points towards your tier, rewards are paid in GEMs, and there are 8 tiers with up to 80% advertised. It replaced the old Fish Buffet in 2026.

How Ocean Rewards works
Ocean Rewards uses two numbers: Tide Points (TP) set your tier, and GEMs are the rewards you actually receive — the higher your tier, the bigger your GEM multiplier. Natural8's slogan is "Up to 80% Cashback", i.e. up to 80%.

In tournaments with an overlay (fewer entries than the guarantee), TP and GEMs may be reduced proportionally.

"Approx. poker rake" is our own conversion at 100 TP per $1 of rake, poker only, excluding casino. For how rake is taken, see the rake structure.
"80%" is not a cash promise. Natural8's terms say GEMs "do not have a fixed monetary value", and the operator is under no obligation to convert them. The advertised cashback percentages are derived from GEM multipliers; the real value depends on what GEMs can buy in the client.
Yearly reset and keeping your tier
- TP resets to zero every year on 1 January at 08:00 HKT.
- The tier you reach is kept until the end of the following year; if your TP that year falls short of the threshold, you're demoted the year after.
- Example: reach Turtle this year and you stay Turtle for all of next year; if you don't reach 200,000 TP next year, you drop a tier the year after.
How it differs from the old Fish Buffet
Fish Buffet was Natural8's previous rakeback programme, maxing out at 60%, and it has been replaced by Ocean Rewards. Players were migrated to the new programme by their existing rank on 30 January 2026. Plenty of older articles still describe Fish Buffet tiers and "daily rewards" — none of that applies any more.
Other cashback

Third-party rakeback sites (raketherake and others)
Players searching "raketherake natural8" are looking for third-party rakeback. These sites do exist and usually claim to pay extra on top of the official rakeback, but their terms aren't on Natural8's official pages, so we can't verify them and don't recommend them — this page only covers the official Ocean Rewards.
