Natural8 Flip & Go: Flip First, Then Play the Tournament
Flip & Go has two steps: in the Flip stage you get 3 hole cards, discard 1 and go straight to an all-in showdown; survivors move on to the Go stage, an hourly tournament where everyone is already in the money. Buy-ins run from $0.05 to $20.

The two stages
- Flip stage: keep 2 of 3. Everyone is dealt 3 hole cards, discards 1 within 30 seconds, and then everyone is all-in. Until heads-up, the board is run twice (“Double Board”).
- Buy more than one stack. You can buy 1–5 stacks per Flip, 1,000 chips each. Natural8 doesn't explain in detail how multiple stacks are settled in the Flip stage, so read the in-client description before you buy.
- Go stage: everyone gets paid. Players who survive the Flip move into a regular tournament that starts every hour, and they are already in the money. Tables are 8-handed, 9 at the final table.
Buy-ins, guarantees and fees
| Buy-in | Guaranteed prize pool | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| $0.05 | $30–$75 | $0.003 |
| $0.50 | $200–$400 | $0.025 |
| $3 | $700–$1,250 | $0.15 |
| $20 | $1,500–$2,000 | $1 |
The guarantee is a range; the guarantee for each event is shown in the lobby. Working from the table, the fee is about 5% of the buy-in (about 6% at $0.05), lower than Mystery Battle Royale's 8%. Compare fees in our rake guide.
Which card to discard in the Flip
The Flip stage is an instant all-in with no betting afterwards, so all you need to do is keep the two cards with the best all-in equity. The usual order: pocket pairs first, then two high cards, with suited and connected cards as a bonus. For example, with K♠K♦7♣ throw the 7 and keep pocket kings; with A♠J♠4♥ throw the 4 and keep suited A-J. If you're unsure, compare them in the poker odds calculator or check the starting hand chart. Mind the 30-second limit and don't hesitate too long.
Flip & Go Millionaire
Flip & Go Millionaire is the big guaranteed event for this format. The Flip stage is the same all-in showdown; the difference is that the final Go stage has a prize pool in the millions. After the end date, check whether Natural8 has announced a new edition.
