Natural8 Mystery Battle Royale: 18-Player Battle Royale
Mystery Battle Royale is an 18-player, two-stage fast format: 10 minutes on Rush & Cash fast-fold tables cut the field to 9, then a bounty final table where the top 3 are paid. Buy-ins are $0.25, $1, $3 and $10, with 8% rake.

How the two stages play
- Stage 1: a 10-minute Rush. The 18 players start on Rush & Cash fast-fold tables (Natural8 describes them as “5-ring” tables), and within 10 minutes the field is cut to 9.
- Stage 2: the bounty final table. The last 9 move to a single knockout-bounty final table, where eliminating an opponent earns you a bounty.
- The top 3 are paid. On top of the bounties, the final top 3 receive place prizes.
Stage 1 plays like Rush & Cash: fold and you jump to a new table, so you see a lot of hands in those first 10 minutes.
Buy-ins, rake and jackpot
| Buy-in | Rake | Top Mystery Bounty Jackpot multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| $0.25 | 8% | x20,000 |
| $1 | 8% | x10,000 |
| $3 | 8% | x10,000 |
| $10 | 8% | x10,000 (up to $100,000) |
The official wording is “up to x10,000 (x20,000 at $0.25)”; the table simply applies that cap to each buy-in. It is a ceiling, not something you see every game. The 8% rake is higher than Flip & Go's fee of about 5%, so factor that in before you play; compare fees in our rake guide.
The old Battle Royale has been upgraded
If you see Battle Royale described as “30 players, 3 stages, 5–6% rake”, that is the old version. The official page says it was upgraded to Mystery Battle Royale, which is now 18 players over two stages and adds the Mystery Bounty Jackpot.
| Item | Old Battle Royale | Mystery Battle Royale |
|---|---|---|
| Players | 30 | 18 |
| Stages | 3 | 2 |
| Buy-ins | $0.25–$10 | $0.25, $1, $3, $10 |
| Rake | 5–6% | 8% |
Compared with the other fast formats
| Item | Mystery Battle Royale | Spin & Gold | Flip & Go |
|---|---|---|---|
| Players | 18 | 3 or 6 | Flip, then an 8-handed tournament |
| Buy-ins | $0.25–$10 | $0.25–$200 | $0.05–$20 |
| Fee | 8% | Not published | About 5% |
| Random top prize | Bounty jackpot up to x20,000 | Prize multiplier up to 200,000x | No multiplier; guaranteed prize pool |
At 8%, the fee on a $10 buy-in is about $0.80, and about $0.08 on a $1 buy-in. If low fees matter most to you, Flip & Go is cheaper; if you want the “fast-fold plus bounty final table” combination, Mystery Battle Royale is the one.
